About Us
The Wasp
Man Pest Control is a locally owned and operated business based out of
Gananoque, Ontario. We cover a wide area within the 1000 islands, Leeds
& Grenville, and Frontenac Areas. Because we are locally owned we offer
a 7 day a week service, 365 days a year including Holidays at no
extra charge.
What drives us
Both Joe & Steve who are the owners / operators of the business, are
very passionate about the environment and most important the safety of
others, as many pests such as wasps, bees and spiders just to name a few
can be very harmful to both adults and children.
Company
The Wasp Man Pest Control has been in service for many years and brings
to its customer the knowledge that all the work we do carries a 30 day
guarantee, if for some reason the wasps or bees return to the
same spot as was treated then we will remove them at no cost to the
customer.
One thing which is unique to The Wasp Man is that we try to relocate the
bees and wasp nests were ever possible, as bees and wasps do have a purpose in this world.
Also the spray we use is organic and is safe around people and pets and is used
for both indoor and outdoor work.

We offer a full line of pest control services for both home, cottage, trailers and out buildings, along with business owners as well. Pests do not care were they build or live as long as they have some were to breed and populate.

Common Paper Wasp:
These wasps are one of the most common ones found in Ontario.
Paper wasps make a honey comb shape nest.
You can find them in almost any place, exposed or unexposed,
Such as Sheds, BBQ`s, under fascia boards,
Eaves troughs and peaks of buildings and many more places!
European Hornet:
This wasp is your true hornet and is the
largest social wasp in Canada.
These hornets build their nests inside hollow trees, logs, attics,
sheds and some time can be found in exposed areas such as under eves.
This hornet can be very aggressive if disturbed and their sting is very painful.
Yellow Jackets:
Yellow jackets are another species of wasp
As most wasps are not that territorial
This is a Double Nest
Sometimes there could be more than one yellow jacket nest around your home.
Yellow jackets are predators & scavengers, they like sweets and sometimes there pests when you’re having a BBQ or when you’re having a pop.
