Policies
All rates are
based on occupancy of 6 people. Rates are in Canadian funds and require
a minimum stay of 6 nights. For weekly rentals, the week runs
Saturday to Saturday.
When the
reservation is made, a personal cheque for $400.00 must be sent to Rick
and Paula Dunn, 344 Garden St. Gananoque On, K7G 1J5, to hold your
reservation. The balance of the payment must be forwarded one
month prior to arrival date. Cancellation of your
reservation may be made one month prior to arrival without penalty.
Cancellation after this time will result in your deposit not being
refunded.
Check in time
is 4 pm and check out time is 11:00 am unless other arrangements are
made ahead of time.
We have a no
smoking policy.
Animals
including dogs and/or cats are not permitted on the property at any
time.
You are
responsible for any damages that occur to the cottage during your stay.
The ferry ride to the Island is $5.00 per trip. The ferry runs
24 hrs a day. The area is serviced by 911 emergency response, which
will access for you the OPP, ambulance, and fire services. If an
emergency arises, the civic address is 233 Johnson’s Bay Road, Howe
Island.

Once over the ferry turn
left onto North Shore Road. Travel this road for 15 minutes. You will
pass a farm on the right. When you begin to travel up a hill you will
see a series of mailboxes on your right hand side. Turn right onto
Johnson’s Bay Road. There are two forks in the road, stay left. You
will drive into the laneway of 233 Johnson’s Bay Road. Park in the
parking area and walk your belongings to the front door.
